Five years ago or so, the race and blood line decided what attributes your char would have, and since attributes determine how fast you learn skills, you would have to pick the right race and blood line, depending on which ship you would like to fly. Then, CCP realized that that was a stupid idea and changed it, so that now bloodlines only decide where you start and what NPC corp you land in when you have no "real" corp.

Quote:- What fittings would be good to learn and advance in the game? For Caldari missile ships it's usually pretty simple: put Ballistic Control Systems in the low energy slots, a shield tank in the medium slots and the appropriate missile launchers in the high energy slots. Missiles and shield tanks are often tight on CPU, so training CPU management early and fitting CPU rigs is usually a good idea. This is just a general guideline, if you are looking for specific fit, Google and Battleclinic are your friends.

I'll gladly take any advice, making character, fitting my ship, and be good at something so a corp could use me for something good. I'm open for all advices. The best and most common advice is to not let EVE become a second job. Once killing pirates for ISK stops being fun, you should stop doing it and look for something else to do. If you find yourself space-poor, you can always buy a PLEX from CCP and sell it on the market. First rule of EVE UI: right click EVERYTHING. |
